Forever Young: An Exploration of IN BED Kids
In ode to our growing family of goods, we take a journey into the creation of IN BED Kids, a collection of soft linen sheets & sleepwear. To help us tell the story, we see how this capsule of sets & separates fit for slumber and bedding in vibrant gingham & stripes, has been styled in some of our favourite households.
We recently welcomed IN BED Kids, a capsule of sleepwear in classic cuts, and bedding in joyful shades made from 100% linen. Sheets, pillows, and cushions shaded with Stripe or Gingham in a trio of colourways; Pine, Marigold & Navy. There are sleep sets for baby and above with cot, flat & fitted sheets in a range of sizes with complimentary cushions designed to mix & match. Sets & separates for slumber are crafted in classic cuts in a trio of equally classic colours. Made in the soft shades of Khaki, White, Grey & White Stripe, & Navy Stripe, and adorned with the sweetest of details - a smiley face embroidered onto pockets.
Inspired by the young & young at heart within our IN BED brood, we set out to create a collection that spoke to a childlike imagination, but remained true to the classic tastes of their caregivers. It was also important that these pieces stood the test of time, while caring for the next generation: with our B Corp certified manufacturing process, and crafted from the softest European Flax & OEKO-TEX certified linen. The Melbourne home of Julia Busuttil Nishimura is a multi-generational one, where the cook & author resides with husband Nori, their two boys, Haruki and Yukito, and her mum, Rachel.
